Friday (1/3/2024), Genshin Impact held a live streaming through their official YouTube account @GenshinImpact to bring further information regarding the Genshin Impact version 4.5 update. Giving similar pattern to previous livestream, Genshin Impact provides spoilers regarding the character banners that will appear in Genshin Impact 4.5 and the availability of a new system banner, Chronicled Wish, that could be pulled along with other previous event banners system.

genshin.hoyoverse.com, this new banner system will be different from event
banners in general. According to the developer, Chronicled Wish combines
character and weapon banners in one banner. For more details, players are able to
choose "Chronicled Path" first where players could choose either the
weapon or character category. This option in Chronicled Path will later set up
a banner system to display the selected item category.
The developer, HoYoverse, stated on their website, “Travelers
can obtain random 5-star, 4-star, and 3-star items from "Chronicled
Wish." Unlike other Event Wishes, the item list of "Chronicled
Wish" includes both 5-star characters and 5-star weapons. It also includes
a number of event wish-exclusive characters and weapons.”
Similar to other event wishes, Chronicled Wish has
some rules that players should pay attention to. After choosing the Designated
Item, if player does not get the 5-star Designated Item, player will receive 1
Fate Point. After the maximum points fulfilled (1 Fate Point), the next 5-star
item that player could obtain is guaranteed to be the Designated Item. The Fate
Points ends once player gets the Designated Item and the points will also be
reset to 0 in the next Chronicled Wish. The cost of wishing this banner requires
an Intertwined Fate per wish.
Genshin Impact guaranteed players to get 5-star item after
80 wishes. If players wish for 10 wishes and still do not get the Designated
Item, then players are still 80 wishes away to be guaranteed and there is 50.000%
chance for them to get the item. The guaranteed count will still be continued even
after the Chronicled Wish changed to the next banner.

According to the information on their website, characters
that will be available in Chronicled Wish are event-exclusive 5-star characters
that have already appeared in the “Character Event Wish” or “Character Event
Wish-2” at least 3 times and have also not appeared in the recent “Character
Event Wish.” Characters that have appeared in Chronicled Wish may appear again
in the next Chronicled Wish.
Starting from version 4.5, Chronicled Wish will be available
from time to time. However, HoYoverse outlined to stay tune on their official
news for further information.
