Genshin Impact conducted a live stream regarding the contents update in version 4.6 entitled "Two Worlds Aflame the Crimson Night Fades" yesterday Friday, (12/04/24). Accompanied by the voice actors of Traveler, Itto, Arlecchino, and Lyney, Genshin Impact provided leaks regarding several contents and updates to Genshin Impact version 4.6. One of these updates is the presence of the new character, The Knave or Arlecchino which players could wish on the 4.6 banner.
Based on the lore in the game, The Knave is an epithet for Arlecchino in carrying out her role in the Fatui organization. Arlecchino is a character who is reportedly part of the 4th Fatui Harbinger, which is one of the important people who has a big role in the secret organization of Snezhnaya. In game story, Arlecchino is introduced as the 'father' figure who owns the House of the Hearth orphanage which is also where the siblings Lyney, Lynette and Freminett live in Fontaine.
Arlecchino has unique and new gameplay. One of Arlecchino's characteristics is the application of the Bond of Life to her elemental skills. The Bond of Life itself has been used quite a lot by enemies in the world of Teyvat. This mechanism allows the enemy to lose HP continuously and also limits the amount of Max HP until the effect wears off.
Once Bond of Life is active, Arlecchino's Normal Attack, Charged Attack, and Plunging Attack will be converted into Pyro DMG which could not be overwritten by other Elemental Infusions. In this phase, her Normal Attack will consume a portion of her Bond of Life to deal greater DMG skill and immediately finish the cooldown of her Elemental Skill. Once the DMG is dealt, her Elemental Burst will quickly restore the Elemental Skill's cooldown and heal Arlecchino based on her ATK and Bond of Life at the moment. Thanks to her talent, Arlecchino could deal Pyro DMG Bonus to herself.
So far, this polearm weapon user character is suitable as a DPS Pyro considering the kit she has. The Knave will be present as a limited 5 star character in the first phase of banner 4.6 along with Lyney. Players who are interested in taking it could wait until April,
