Save the Date! Genshin Impact's 'Reunion of Happiness' Will Be Held Offline in These Cities

Good news for Travelers, Genshin Impact will hold a series of offline events entitled 'Reunion of Happiness' in several cities in Indonesia! This event is held as a form of HoYoverse's strategy to contribute to the Indonesian market by participating in big holidays in Indonesia.

This event will mainly focus on Genshin Impact and is aimed specifically at fans. Fans will later be served to an event about Genshin Impact which of course will be accompanied by the unique designs of the game. In addition to that, this event will also be enlivened by Genshin cosplayers, as well as various merchandise on offer.

Amos Yeo, Senior Global PR Manager Southeast Asia (SEA) HoYoverse stated that this event is one of HoYoverse's efforts to become more relevant and contribute to the Genshin Impact community and market in Indonesia. 

"Our current strategy is to create various events that are relevant to big holidays in Indonesia, such as Ramadhan through Reunion of Happiness, until later such as Independence Day and so on," said Amos to the media crew, Thursday (21/3/2024).

"This is also in line with our mission to increase our brand awareness in the Indonesian market, as well as help the Indonesian government improve the ecosystem and game players in Indonesia," added Amos.

The 'Reunion of Happiness' event will be held in four major cities in Indonesia, which are Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang and Surabaya. This event is planned to be held regularly from March 31st to April 7th, 2024. Starting from 10.00 WIB to 22.00 WIB every day, the 'Reunion of Happiness' will take place at the following places:

• Jakarta: Sarinah, VIP Parking Area

• Bandung: Cihampelas Walk (Ciwalk),

• Green Park Semarang area: Tentrem Mall, Atrium A

• Surabaya: Tunjungan Plaza 6, Atrium, 2nd Floor

This event is completely free. Genshin Impact fans are able come directly to the places mentioned above on the dates listed, to celebrate Ramadhan with HoYoverse. Fans can also take part in a series of activities and challenges to win official merchandise from HoYoverse, especially in the game Genshin Impact.

Collaboration with YCAB Foundation

Besides holding exciting events, HoYoverse also collaborated with the Cinta Anak Bangsa Foundation (YCAB) in launching this event. This collaboration is a form of HoYoverse's contribution to humanity. It is reported that the proceeds from merchandise sales during the event added with 10,000 USD will be donated to the Youth Digital Acceleration Program initiative from the Cinta Anak Bangsa Foundation (YCAB).

Veronica Colondam, Founder and CEO of YCAB Foundation is very happy and grateful to HoYoverse and Genshin Impact for the collaboration. She is happy that this event is not only held for fun but also an opportunity to share.

This donation will later be used to provide scholarships to 50 selected students in the Jabodetabek area. These students will later be trained to undergo a four-month program to develop coding skills, web development and graphic design theory to open up career opportunities for them in the future.
